    Locate a V3 or V4 station marked “Open to All EVs” using your vehicle’s onboard navigation (not CarPlay or Android Auto) or the free Tesla app.

Will this adapter work at any Tesla fast-charging station?
This adapter is designed for Tesla Supercharger V3 and V4 stations only. It will not work at older V2 units. The best way to find a compatible station is by using your vehicle's native navigation system (not CarPlay or Android Auto) or the Tesla app and filtering for Open to All EVs.
Can I use the CCS1 adapter at a home or hotel charger?
No. This adapter is designed for DC fast charging only. It is physically and electrically incompatible with AC Level 2 charging stations like a Home Wall Connector or Destination Charger. Attempting to use this DC adapter on an AC-only station will not work and may damage your equipment. Use the NACS to J1772 adapter for home and hotel chargers.
