Supercharger Adapter FAQs (NACS to CCS)
What is this adapter for?
This adapter is for non-Tesla EV drivers (such as Ford, Rivian, GM, Hyundai, etc.) whose vehicles use the CCS port. It allows you to access the high-speed DC fast-charging network (Superchargers).
Will this work with my vehicle?
This adapter is compatible with most EVs that use the CCS standard. Your vehicle's manufacturer (e.g., Ford, Rivian) must also have an agreement with the network operator to allow charging. Please check your vehicle's app (like the FordPass app) to find and activate compatible fast-charging stations.
Will this adapter work at any fast-charging station?
This adapter is designed for V3 and V4 fast chargers. It will not work at older V2 units. The best way to find a compatible station is by using the network's mobile app and filtering for "Open to All EVs".
Can I use this adapter at a home or hotel charger?
NO. THIS ADAPTER WILL NOT WORK AND MAY CAUSE DAMAGE.
This adapter is designed for DC fast charging ONLY.
It is physically and electrically incompatible with AC Level 2 charging stations (like a Home Wall Connector or Destination Charger). Attempting to use this DC adapter on an AC-only station will not work and may damage your equipment.
You must use our AC (NACS to J1772) adapter for home and hotel chargers.
Home Adapter FAQs (NACS to J1772)
What is this adapter for?
This adapter is for non-Tesla EV drivers (such as Ford, Rivian, GM, Hyundai, etc., that use a J1772 plug). It allows you to charge your car at AC (Level 1 and Level 2) charging stations that use the NACS plug, such as a Home Wall Connector, a Mobile Connector, or at thousands of Destination Chargers found at hotels, wineries, and restaurants.
Will this work with my vehicle?
Yes. This adapter is compatible with any electric vehicle that uses the standard J1772 charging port.
What charging speeds can I expect?
This adapter is for AC Level 2 charging. The speed will be determined by the charging station you are plugged into and your vehicle's onboard charger (typically 7kW to 11.5kW). This is perfect for overnight charging or topping up while you are at a hotel or restaurant, adding 20-35 miles of range per hour.
Can I use this adapter at a Supercharger?
NO. DANGER OF SEVERE DAMAGE AND INJURY.
This adapter is designed for AC Level 1 and Level 2 charging ONLY.
Attempting to connect this AC-only adapter to a DC fast-charging station (like a Supercharger) is extremely dangerous. It will cause a direct electrical mismatch that can result in catastrophic damage to your vehicle's charging system, permanent damage to the charging station, and poses a significant risk of fire, personal injury, or even death.
