Understanding The Velectr Warranty: What You Need to Know
Velectr 2-Year Limited Warranty
At Velectr, we stand behind our products. Our company was founded on the principles of reliability and service you can trust. We build our adapters with high-quality, durable materials and engineer them to rigorous safety standards.
We are proud to offer a 2-Year Limited Warranty on all Velectr adapters purchased from our official website or authorized resellers.
1. What Does This Warranty Cover?
This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.
If a Velectr product fails due to a manufacturing defect within two (2) years of the original delivery date, we will, at our discretion:
• Repair the product at no charge, or
• Replace the product with a new or equivalent unit, or
• If neither repair nor replacement is reasonably available, issue a refund of the original purchase price.
2. What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
This warranty is comprehensive, but it does not cover issues resulting from:
• Improper Use: Damage caused by failing to follow product instructions, including (but not limited to) using an AC-only adapter on a DC fast-charging station.
• Accidental Damage: Drops, liquid spills, or damage from being run over.
• Environmental Conditions: Damage from floods, lightning, or other natural disasters.
• Unauthorized Modifications: Any repair, alteration, or modification not performed or authorized by Velectr.
• Normal Wear and Tear: Cosmetic damage such as scratches, scuffs, or dents that do not affect the product’s functionality.
• Theft or Loss of the product.
3. Discontinued Products
If your product has been discontinued and falls within the warranty period, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a comparable replacement of equal value. If no comparable replacement is available, we will offer a full refund of the original purchase price.
4. Who Is Covered
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required for all warranty claims.
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
As a company founded on service, we promise to make this process as simple as possible:
1. Visit our Returns Portal to initiate your claim.
2. Select "Defective" or "Damaged" as your return reason.
3. Provide your original order number. You may be asked to upload photos or a short video demonstrating the issue.
4. Our US-based support team will review your claim and, if approved, provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label and instructions.
If you have questions about our warranty, please contact our support team through our Contact Us page.
6. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a warranty claim, please contact our support team and we will work with you to reach a resolution. If we are unable to resolve the matter informally, either party may pursue the dispute in any small claims court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing in this warranty limits your right to pursue any legal remedy available to you under applicable law.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velectr’s total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product. Velectr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product.
8. Implied Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the period of this express warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
9. Your Rights Under State Law
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
If any provision of this warranty is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
10. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which the original purchaser resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
